How were these numbers calculated?

We analyzed NYC’s Motor Vehicle Collisions datasets — Crashes (h9gi-nx95), Persons (f55k-p6yu), and Vehicles (bm4k-52h4) — for incidents occurring between 2022-01-01 and 2025-09-26 within New York State Senate District 18. We used CrashCount’s district boundary to spatially filter records, then counted crashes, injuries, serious injuries, and deaths. Data were last extracted on Sep 25, 2025.
