Police said a 56-year-old woman driving a Honda Civic was heading south on Main Street shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday when she turned left onto Union Turnpike in Briarwood and hit a 61-year-old woman who was crossing the street. A left turn at a Queens intersection ended in a fatal crash
