Speeding driver slams box truck on Bruckner
Before dawn on Bruckner Boulevard, a northbound driver in a sedan hit the rear of a box truck at unsafe speed. The 29-year-old woman at the wheel died; three passengers were hurt in the frozen Bronx dark.

According to the police report, a northbound sedan hit the rear of a northbound box truck on Bruckner Boulevard near Whittier Street in the Bronx. Police recorded unsafe speed for the sedan. The 29-year-old woman driving that car was killed. Two male passengers, ages 26 and 29, and a 26-year-old woman riding in the rear seat were injured in the overnight crash on this arterial road.
