According to the police report, a driver making a right turn at Bruckner Boulevard and Leggett Avenue in the Bronx failed to yield and hit a 32-year-old woman in the intersection and a 32-year-old woman riding an e-bike. Both sustained crush injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. Police recorded failure to yield right-of-way as a contributing factor. The crash happened overnight, after dark.
