Driver Ignores Signal, Motorcyclist Dead on Avenue P
A driver blew past traffic control on Avenue P and hit a 42-year-old motorcyclist turning left. The rider was ejected and killed beside a parked pickup and sedan. One act of disregard, and a man is gone.

According to the police report, a 42-year-old unlicensed man riding a motorcycle east on Avenue P tried to make a left turn at East 2nd Street when he hit a westbound sedan. The impact pushed into a parked sedan and a parked pickup truck. The rider was ejected and died from head and crush injuries. Police recorded traffic control disregarded as a contributing factor.
